Practical information to access the center and plan your visit
1. Location and Booking
This digital center, a museum territory, is located next to the Sorogain hostel in the heart of the Erro Valley.
Access is via a paved road and can be easily reached by private vehicle. Parking is usually available right next to the center’s entrance.
2. How the Visit Works
The Sorogain Digital Center experience is designed as a self-guided and immersive visit, allowing each visitor to discover the contents at their own pace.
To start the visit:
1- In your booking confirmation email, you will receive a QR code that enables your entry to the center.
2- At the entrance of the center, you will find a reader that will unlock the front door when you show your booking QR code.
You will not have any coverage issues as the center has a Wi-Fi hotspot.
Each visit lasts 1 hour, during which you can freely explore the space and access the different digital contents.
The exhibition combines touch screens, projections, and audiovisual resources to explore the history, landscape, and cultural memory of Sorogain and the Erro Valley from a contemporary and interactive perspective.
All contents are available in Basque, Spanish, French, and English, providing an accessible experience for both local and international visitors.
At the end of the visit, you will find an interactive game to test the knowledge you have learned about our environment, as well as a short satisfaction survey to help us improve.
Once your visit is over, you can complete the experience with our thematic trails.
3. Rules of the Visit
– Our digital centre is fully automated, although the screens take 40 seconds to activate. If you come across a screen that is black, please wait for this time whilst enjoying the information panels. (Include a photo of a black screen and a photo showing the screens with videos)
– Once activated, our screens will display a menu with various options to choose from; simply tap the one you wish to start with.
– During your visit, you will explore four themed areas. The route is marked on the floor with illuminated signs to guide you.
– Bringing food and drinks into the center is prohibited.
– Smoking inside the center is prohibited.
– Animals are not allowed inside the center.
– For safety reasons and facilities maintenance, the outdoor surroundings and the entrance to the center are equipped with an active 24-hour video surveillance system.
